About Board Game Clubs

Board Game Clubs is a free, community-maintained directory of board game clubs across Europe. The site is bilingual: English at the root and German at boardgameclubs.org/de/. Use the country switcher in the top nav to change which country’s clubs you see on the map. We connect people with local clubs, making it easy to discover where and when groups meet near you.

How It Works

• Browse the map to find clubs near you
• Filter by day of the week or search by name and location
• Click on a club to see full details including venue, time, cost, and links
• Use “Find my location” to sort clubs by distance from you

Community Maintained

All club data is stored as individual files in our GitHub repository. Anyone can submit a pull request to add a new club or update existing information. See our contribution guide for details.

No Accounts, Privacy Friendly

Board Game Clubs is a static website hosted on GitHub Pages. There are no user accounts and no cookies. We use GoatCounter for basic, privacy-friendly analytics — it collects no personal data, uses no cookies, and is fully open source. The interactive map uses OpenStreetMap, which is free and open source.
